I hope everyone is enjoying the extended summer weather! Our fall sports are nearing the end and winter sports are right around the corner. I am happy to report that we have just over fifty new students in our district this year. I am accrediting this as a direct result of our exceptional faculty and staff. We are recognized as a top performing school in the state when compared to districts with similar demographics. Not only do I believe it is a reflection of our academics, but also our success in the areas that come after dismissal.

In terms of the COVID situation, we have begun testing our staff members that are not vaccinated. The testing is off to a great start thanks to Mr. Talbot and Mrs. Parmenter. Both of them have gone above and beyond to make sure our staff and students are safe! Please take a minute to thank them the next time you see them.

As far as construction goes around campus, it is going as well as possible. The construction crews have been working hard but as you know, materials are difficult to find and the disruption in shipping is not helping either. Once all the work is complete, our students and community will be safer, our building will be healthier, parking will improve and our issues with the morning drop-off loop will be less congested.

Thank you, Fillmore community, for your continued support in all areas. We are making a positive difference in the world and all of us play an equal role in doing so.

    Sincerely,
