We have reached the halfway point in the school year already. Once the winter holiday season is over the school year seems to fly by. Soon we will be watching winter sports sectionals, our school musical will be here before we know it and hopefully some spring weather with it.

Our capital project is coming to an end. The labor and supply shortages made things difficult at times but the work that has been completed will benefit our students, staff and community moving forward.

Our FCS Trap Shooting Club’s season starts the first week of March with competitions. We are in our 3rd year and our numbers have increased every year. We started with less than 10 shooters and currently we have approximately 30 students ready to compete. If your child is interested in shooting trap please send them to my office or give me a call at 567-2251. Our trap shooting program is intended to be a low-pressure activity where students can learn a sport they will be able to participate in forever. Students who are on this team know that their academics and all other after school commitments need to be the priority.

    Sincerely,

    Michael Dodge

    Superintendent
