    Sandy Cochran Memorial Scholarship-  This scholarship it to support students who are committed to pursuing a career in forestry, natural resource management and/or environmental science - and then applying that knowledge to provide the very best in natural resource management to the region of northwestern Pennsylvania and southwestern New York.  Please click on link for more information:

    2021 Most Valuable Student (MVS) Scholarship:  Applications can be found online at enf.elks.org/MVS.  This scholarship eligibility requirement is for any high school senior who is a US citizen.  Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need.  Leadership scores will be bases on a student's employment, community service, honors and awards, positions of leadership, extracurricular activities and essay.  Scholarships are available only to students who enroll in four-year undergraduate degree programs at accredited U.S. American colleges or universities.  Male and female students compete separately for identical awards.  When applying, choose the Wellsville Elks Lodge No. 1495 as your sponsoring Lodge.   Complete details can be found at enf.elks.org/MVS.  Applications must be submitted online on or before November 15, 2020.
     
    PB&J Scholarship - This scholarship is for students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically (high GPA is not needed to qualify!).  Please click on link below for more information.

    Character Excellence Scholarship - This $1000 scholarship is offered to college or trade bound seniors who exemplify character in their daily lives.  Please click on link below for more information and application.

    American Legion Scholarship - This scholarship is intended to assist NYS Veterans, their families, and patriotic students who share the ideals of the American Legion.  The scholarship will be awarded based on veteran status (including family members), financial need, scholastic ability, realistic goals, extra-curricular activities and community involvement.  All students must show proof that they have been accepted at an accredited college or university prior to receiving the scholarship.

    Friends of Allegany Arc Foundation Scholarship - If you are an Allegany County resident, planning to enroll in college full-time in the fall of 2021 and pursue a degree in a field related to working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities (i.e. Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapies, Nursing, Special Education or the Human Service field).  You should apply for this scholarship.  Go on the following website for more information:
