Our district has been affected by the nationwide cybersecurity incident involving PowerSchool, a software vendor that warehouses data for Student Information Systems. We have been following all guidance from PowerSchool to ensure proper reporting and notification is being sent to the impacted parties within our school community. On December 28, 2004, PowerSchool discovered a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to certain information through their customer support portal, PowerSource. This incident affected student, alumni, and staff information.

The district was notified on January 7, 2025, that we were impacted by PowerSchool, but further investigation was taking place by PowerSchool as well as all communications will be handled by PowerSchool.
