As Superintendent of Fillmore, I am proud of the collective effort between the Board of Education and Administration that went into developing the 2013-14, Fillmore School Budget. The budget is centered on students and is dedicated to increasing learning opportunities.

The tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut occurred on Friday, December 14, 2013. Following the tragedy, the Board of Education and I discussed a thorough plan to evaluate our safety and emergency plans and procedures with experts from the community
The Middle School Student Council is selling Candygrams for Valentine's Day again this year. We are selling fruit flavored suckers in the shape of lips. The cost is $1.50 each. Each Candygram will be delivered on Feb.14tt'.
The ACCORD ACCESS Centers will be hosting 2 Food Distributions in February. The first will take place Friday, February 1st in Wellsville and the 2nd will be held Friday, February 8th in Belfast. Both events will take place from 3pm – 5pm. Attached are the event flyers with details. A large box of produce, bread, canned goods, and other goodies will be distributed free of charge to each individual/family that pre-registers by calling an ACCESS Center.
The Career and Technical Center has an Open House/Community night coming up in February.
Dear Parents, please remember that Fillmore School has a single point of entry. We will have all side and back doors locked after students enter the building in the morning at 8:30 AM.
In these difficult times, our thoughts and hearts are with the families and community of Newtown. Our administrators and counselors worked together over the weekend carefully planning out a plan of support and direction for staff and students that is age appropriate.
