Today we learned of a staff or student who tested positive for COVID-19 and was on campus this week. The administration, along with our school nurse, worked closely with the Allegany County Department of Health today to begin the contact tracing process.
Tomorrow, Friday, December 18th will be an all-virtual day for the entire district. This will allow our cleaning staff to disinfect and sanitize the building.
Tomorrow… teachers and students will follow their normal Friday schedule with the exception that there obviously will not be in-person services or extra help.
Also, tomorrow only… The District will not be transporting any students to the CTE center or to any out of district programs. These students should plan to participate virtually for the day.
On Monday and Tuesday, December 21st and 22nd, 3PK-6 grades along with Ms. Harrington and Mrs. Stefani’s classes, will continue with their regular hybrid and in-person schedule.
Grades 7-12 will remain virtual for Monday and Tuesday but the district will provide transportation for all students who attend the CTE Center and all other out of district programs. There will be another robocall tomorrow explaining virtual instruction for those days.
When we return to school after the holidays on January 4th ALL students will return to their regular Hybrid in-person learning schedules.
Finally, all parents and guardians of 7th through 12 grade students that would like to request meals for their children on Monday and Tuesday… may do so by calling the high school office before noon tomorrow. Feel free to leave a message if no one answers.
